Dr. Citow is excellent at his given specialty- surgery. And he talks a great plan about pain management after surgery, however then I was given only tylenol in the hospital after an anterior/posterior fusion of cervical spine C3-C7...major surgery, major pain! The whole reason I was kept overnight was for pain management...I don't consider tylenol pain management after spinal surgery! Definitely a continually occurring issue for this practice... Once out of the hospital I was given pain meds, but I've had 3 surgeries on my spine with Dr Citow, and in the hospital it was always tylenol only!

Horable after care gave me child dose of pain pills after back surgery. Going 3 days no sleep because of the pain and he want to prescribed steroids. I'm 35 6'2" 250. 20 5mg perkeset is rational pain management for such a painful presidure. If you see this "D.R." make sure you get after care information before procedure not sleeping for three days so far and he wants to play games with medication. Shame on him. Guess why its called the hypocritical oath because its pure hypocrisy. They don't care how you feel or you're recuperation, just that the insurance goes threw. There almost as bad as lawyer's.

I’d very much recommend Dr. Jose Alzate for his lumbar spinal fusion. Admittedly, my first appointment with Jose was brief and very to the point. But he answered my questions, and I had surgery a few short weeks later. The surgery was a complete success and I was out of hospital soon enough. After 16 months of pain, I’m so much better now! I’m still only 6 weeks out of surgery at the time of writing this review, so I’ve still got a long road of healing ahead, but I’m stronger everyday! Thank you Dr. Alzate.

Doctor Alzate thank you thank you thank you! I dreaded surgery for the longest time but after having it, I don’t know what I was scared of. This man is a pioneer in spinal surgeries, with your help the pain is gone and I can enjoy life pain free once again!

Dr Citow is world class. Do not bother asking for any other. He is the best. I had an L5 S1 fusion for spondylolisthesis, pars bilateral defect, etc. Ge was right. I was back to top condition within a year passing military fitness exams with a 1st class score.

Seeing Dr. Erickson is one of the worst doctor experiences I have ever had. He was over three hours late for my appointment, and I was only informed he was running late after I had already paid my copay and couldn't cancel or walk out. I would advise finding a different doctor before going here.
