Called Illinois bone and joint and got an appointment the same day for my daughters fractured wrist. We were seen within 10 minutes of sitting down in the waiting room. Dr. Hoepfner was great with her. Very gentle and calming with her which was nice to see for my 18 month old. He even showed me her X-ray and explained where the fracture was. Everyone in that office was great. I’m hoping I won’t have anymore reasons to go back but if I do we’ll definitely go with Illinois bone and joint again.

Dr.Hoephfner is a fantastic Dr. Great listener, patient and has a great sense of humor. This is my second time seeing him for a hand issue both required surgery he explained everything thoroughly and made me feel very comfortable.

Courteous staff and incredibly knowledgeable doctor who diagnosed and provided options for me on the spot. Definitely would recommend him. In fact my wife made an appointment shortly after I was finished!!

The doctors at this location are wonderful, however the staff doesn’t know how to schedule appointments. They scheduled my follow up on a day the doctor doesn’t work, they called me at 2pm the day before my scheduled appointment and asked that I come in now, I said I was working, after work (same day) and they would fit me in, (I took a day off work to be here on the day of my appointment) it’s been over an hour and I’m still waiting in the main waiting room, just a very poorly run office. Edit: Ended up waiting an hour and a half, so that the doctor could see me for less than five minutes. The appointment was a waste of time and the whole experience seemed rushed once I was seen.

He was extremely knowledgeable and professional. I loved that he is not anxious to do surgery or any invasive procedures. He took the time to explain things to me and recommended a plan of action and shoes.I already recommended him to 2 of my friends.
