What a beautiful gem was this! Hats off to the service, the owner was helpful with recommendations and helped us with a great laugh. The sweetbread was remarkable, I highly recommend. For those that haven't tried it before (just like myself at the time), think of a scallop with a light livery flavour. I'll remember it as uni of the land. Thanks a lot for the great experience.

Positive points: - Very friendly service - Big portions - Awesome onion confit. Things to improve: - We paid 26 euro for an entrecôte limousine that was very chewy, sinewy and not well prepared. The entrecôte came with soggy french fries and a bland ratatouille - The codfish was not well seasoned with a similar bland side. Conclusion: - We cannot understand how this restaurant achieved so many excellent reviews. We consider the restaurant a typical tourist place with average quality.
I don't remember the name of this food, but it was delicious if someone wants to eat Chez Remi I must advise empty stomach the portions are huge...
Amazing local family run place! Remi is the chef's son and he is the friendliest person ever!! They are so patient in explaining the menu, ingredients, how things are cooked etc. The veal with white sauce is the most famous dish. We had 2 desserts each coz they were so yummy! The food is made from fresh ingredients and are generous in portions!
Amazing place!!! Food, staff, wine...everything perfect :)
Outstanding! Very local extremely delicious and absolutely wonderful service! Highly highly recommend!
Warm and friendly welcoming, very tasty and abundant portions! We had the 'Magret de Canard' (special mention to the Roquefort cheese sauce) and the 'St. Jacques' both accompanied by a nice Bordeaux wine (Les Dames de Ferrante) that surprised us with its smokey aftertaste but overall balanced flavours. For dessert, simply the best Canelé we have ever tasted!
Real gem! Family Remi owned restaurant with high quality meals with a character. Good, warm and quick service, pations and humor, affordable prices, big portions --\u003e will definitely return when in the area. I recommend to make a short trip from Saint-Semilion - it worth it!
