Lovely little gem. Staff are great and doing the best they can in the current situation we are all haveing to deal with. We booked a table with them this morning went for a lovely walk around the fairy trail and then had lunch. Food was good and kid friendly. Thanks again ladies x

Looked like a nice little cafe from the outside, went in and found ourselves a table, shortly after the waitress came to take our order. 2 full englishs, 1 water, 1 coke. No toilet in the resturant which i thought was a requirement to call yourself a resturant, there was however a public one on the shopping complex. The resturant was very cold aswell, as it was just a converted brick barn. Full englishs arrived about 45 minutes after we ordered. They were nice enough, ciabatta bread was a nice touch.

Myself & my wife visited Heart Of The Country centre & the barn restaurant , we thoroughly enjoyed it , although it was busy the staff were friendly, helpful & accommodating. We both had beautiful big homemade burgers fries & salad, really tasty. We will definitely be returning soon & will recommend to our family & friends.

1* is being generous... Sat down and ordered with very little issues. Was told there was a long wait on food which wasnt a problem. We were happy to wait. Two individual sets of customers arrived after us about 20 mins apart. Both of these customers were served drinks before us. We had obviously ordered before them and had been walked past on numerous occasions being the first table closest to the exit of the serving and kitchen area. Ignored and not acknowledged even though we were waiting patiently. Approached waitress and explained the issue to be told they had lost our order ticket. Sorry not good enough. You were obviously busy but too much to even notice unhappy customers right confront of your eyes... poor customer service. And yes I've worked in fast pace environments in food service and it is unacceptable.

Went on Saturday for afternoon tea for my moms 70th - Laura was so helpful when I was booking it, replying to my emails really quickly and at night. The place is so lovely and quaint with fairy lights - we had a lovely round table for 5. The afternoon tea was gorgeous and the staff were lovely putting a candle in it and singing happy birthday to my mom without me asking or anything. Can highly recommend and we'd like to come back and try the main courses, they sounded gorgeous too! Thank you
