Going into the pub was a lovely surprise as it is decorated very differently to most pubs in yellow, pink, green shades of ice cream! The staff provided a warm welcome. The food was delicious! Highly recommend the rump and the lamb shank. For dessert the chocolate tart was the best we've had yet!! We'll definitely be back

Just back from a meal here tonight. I'd never been before so was unsure what to expect though I'd heard it was good food. I have to say it was one of the best meals I've had in a long time. I had lamb shank and my friend had pork belly, both with mash and seasonal veg and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. The one slight thing was we had extra veg as the portion to share between 2 wasn't very big but still absolutely delicious. We also enjoyed a Biscoff cheesecake and a key lime pie cheesecake which finished the meal off perfectly. Staff were super friendly and couldn't do enough for us and the atmosphere was lovely too. Can't wait to return.

Not only are the staff friendly and welcoming, we ended up having more than we set out to. I started with one of my favourites which was whitebait. It was a prefect size plenty of small fried fish with a lovely salad and tartare sauce. Then for main I enjoyed a plate of liver and bacon on a bed of mash and onion gravy. The liver was cooked to perfection with silky mash. Took me back to my childhood when my father used to cook it for me. It is a traditional pub with traditional cooked food.
