Not patronised The Lodge for sit-in / takeaway for around 3 years or so, no specific reason just that we vary our dining out and eating habits, added to which we dabble in the home cooking of similar cuisine with okay results. Lockdown 3, the sequel's sequel, and we fancied a change. Past takeout experiences ruled out the 3, more local, usual suspects so The Lodge (from whom we have never had a poor meal) came into the frame. In short, and taking all things into account (food / delivery speed / ease of ordering / food temperature) a unanimous 5/5. Hopefully such high standards will be similar next time - because there will be a 'next time' and certainly a lot sooner than 3 years or so!!

Been there this evening for a meal. Very nice food, wasnt much of a wait and the service was quick. You get a fair amount of rice, so could have probably shared between two. The Lodge doesnt have an alcohol license so you are able to take your own alcohol if you want a alcoholic beverage with your meal. Meals we had this even, Chicken Dansk, Chicken Tikka Balti, Keema naans and Keema and a Pilau rice
