I love Max. Great food with consistent quality. Most of the time I get what I ordered and when I don’t get exactly the right things, they come out to the car and drop off what was missing. And the kiddie meal toys are actually things that the kids use and don’t just throw away.

MAX is the absolute best of the true fast food restaurants (in Norway/Sweden). Mind you, it's still hamburgers and fries mainly, and not of restaurant/burger joint quality. But the bread is good, meat is juicy, and lots of customization options.
Good fast food, choices of various burgers, chicken and fish sandwiches. Good fries and onion rings. Priced fairly. This chain began in 1968, it would be popular in the US.
Love Max in Lier, Norway. Hoping they will add chicken wings side dish like my favorite Max in the border between Sweden and Norway
the selection of plant based good is awesome unfortunately you can't tell which burger is which when it arrives. one had a number 4 pressed on the box but with no reference as to why. zero control over social distancing zero staff wearing masks or even a mouth visor results in very low confidence
Wow ! What more can i say ??? Great location (so convenient) ! I always make a point to stop in and enjoy the ambiance of the dining room when I’m on my way back and forth from telemark. The employees are so friendly and accommodating. I feel like I’m in my grandmas kitchen again(RIP) . 9/10 stars which means 4/5 stars to me... anyways I have deducted 1 star because only one of the Express order machines was working . This led to a bit of a pile up of hungry patrons anxiously waiting for their food (eek). Enjoy !
