Having never done a professional family photo before, we were quite nervous at the start, but Julie's professionalism and kind attitude quelled that feeling and made it a memorable and enjoyable experience. The photos came out amazing and so much better than the family photos I've personally taken. I definitely recommend Julie to anyone who wants to get a professional family photo.

Family portraits are a daunting experience. Not only are you balancing paranoid thoughts like -- does my bum look fat in these jeans? -- but you have young children fighting, yelling, and acting like real prima donnas. Julie at Lifeworks managed to balance all these fears with an empathetic and professional approach to the shoot. Her clear and decisive direction and clear understanding of children and adult dynamics quickly shifted fear and concern to fun, engagement, and interaction. The result was a selection of stunning family portraits that captured not only the individual personality of our family but allowed each person to shine in their own right. The only problem we experienced was when it came to the selection of images which ones would we choose, we were spoilt for choice. I can wholeheartedly endorse the Lifeworks team, from the initial engagement and conversations about what we wanted, to the final delivery of the prints. Most valuable by far is seeing finished prints on our wall every day – an investment that will last a lifetime.

Julie took some amazing photos of my family. Having teenagers who were 'not keen' to have their photos taken, I was surprised at how much they enjoyed the experience. Julie took time to ask what we were hoping for, she had great ideas and took a range of photos. Including our dog in the photos was pricelss. The photos are incredible and I am soooo thrilled to have such beautful lasting memories of a special time with my family.
