For the last 3 years, my bf has never gotten my love of art. I told him he’d understand one day. Today was that day! John’s beautifully fun and quirky art captures our life in the outback... and got my man to appreciate the value of art. I can not recommend enough.

BRilliant artist, must see! He has also painted many murals throughout the north west.

STUNNING. Blown away by the talent! John Murray's trademark emus are gorgeous, as are the other crisp, some almost cartoon like, snapshots of Aussie life on canvas. Other works have incredible photo realism, particularly the multpile Triptych sets, some of which are huge. His caricature of Tony Abbott in his budge smugglers is hilarious, accompanied by a letter from Abbott himself...! Also with his colourful paintings hang some pieces of photography which I believe is done by his wife..Her artistry is absolutely beautiful in a completely different way, much darker greys, stark black and whites. Contrasting pieces as opposed to John's focused pictures. Amazing little gallery well worth a look.

Loved this gallery. The art is fun, colourful, unique, authentic and inexpensive. We found ourselves laughing, engulfed in the art and planning our walls for purchases. On our way back to sydney from lightning ridge to mudgee we saw the artists murals all over the little towns. Great artist and a must do in town.
