For anyone expecting their first child I highly recommend Dr. Green and the staff here at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital. They treated me with the most kindness and sensitivity. I even had asked them not to allow certain people into my room and they did. It was very nice, they also have wonderful nurses in the birthing wing. But I will say the ER is a little different. While they do their job, they will judge you for your choices of certain things and talk about it right around the corner... Like I can still hear you!

Don't use them, they couldn't even get a covid test done for me. I called them on a wednesday to schedule it. The lady told me that the hospial would be in contact with me in the next few days. They did not call me. I went down there three days before my surgery and was transfered five times to different people . Not once did they offer to do the test. I was told I did not follow their protocol. The last woman I talked to wanted t o keep interupting me . Canelled all of my appointment and will reschedule with a better hospitol that knows what they are doing.

First I will start that I grew up in Lincoln and try give our little town the benefit of the doubt and this review is hard for me to write because of that reason. Very high level on the visit. Multiple hour wait to be seen by anyone. Then advised person not available to assist with needs and longer wait for someone to arrive. Then told would take up to a few hours for someone outside the hospital to review results. Called the hospital to try to get info and first nurse hung up intentionally after a very short conversation that was unhelpful and having a very bad attitude. Called back and second nurse was much more helpful and understanding of the situation. I would give her 5 stars if I could. Then the bill comes. Seemed rather high for what took place and after speaking with our insurance company was advised that a portion of the bill was denied because the hospital did not provide the proper info. Insurance requested the additional info before they could approve. So as opposed to providing the proper info to insurance before billing us, they just billed us for the full amount. Had I not called my insurance and paid the bill, we would have been out of pocket double what we should have been which as 100s already. Appears unlikely we ever would have received a credit for the over payment based on the info I received at this point. I was also informed the hospital would not put a hold on the portion in question and that we may get calls from collections if it remains unpaid. Clearly not acting as an advocate for their customers so i recommend double checking what you get billed!! With the exception of the one nurse I spoke with, this was a very poor experience from start to finish. Expected more from our hometown hospital and disappointed in the ER experience and billing practices.

First, I wish everyone health and well-being. My chest suffered pain in my chest and I entered this hospital by accident. I do not say that it was intense interest in me that I felt I entered Paradise. Thank you to all the medical staff and doctors. There is interest, and the most amazing. Thank you with all my heart ... Noor, the truck driver

Do not go here! If you're dying, you better pray you have 45 minutes to get somewhere else. My husband went to the E.R. with dehydration due to diarrhea and vomiting for 48 hours. All he needed was a couple bags of IV fluids. They refused to give him a glass of water and he never recieved fluids. They did an EKG, CT scan, bloodwork and a urine test. All unnecessary testing. The \dr.\ Said he had acid reflux and prescribed zantac. Which we have at home. The level of incompetence is astounding.
