Alma was very scattered, trying to work with her on the phone was nearly impossible however once we did get in her dresses were nice, we went to another place called brides to be couture in Fair Oaks and you feel like a princess there and they have enough dresses you will find what you want. I felt very concerned if we were going to order from Alma because she had a very hard time even just scheduling the appointment when we needed to make a change to the appointment. Such a simple thing was so very difficult.

Finding a wedding dress is a nightmare but Alma took away all my fear and anxiety. I tried David's Bridal and I was treated poorly there. I told them that I didn't want to spend a fortune and so I was given only hideous bargain frocks to try on there. I was so depressed by how awful I looked in those dresses that I was scared for my wedding day. Alma's Bridal Boutique was way different. She greeted me the moment I walked in and was real about pricing. She told me that I would need to spend at least 1,200.00 for a wedding dress and I listened. She picked out something she thought I would like and it was the first dress I tried on that I actually felt like a beautiful bride in. I ended up buying the dress. She and I stayed in touch and had several fittings to make sure everything was perfect when I walked away with the finished product. Alma is a master seamstress and a lovely person to do business with.
Showed up for a set appointment 10 minutes early to find a sign on the door that said the store was closed because of a doctor’s appointment. I thought it was odd because I received an email the day before confirming my appointment and information that if I showed up late there would be a late fee I would have to pay. I never received a phone call or email to notify me of my cancelled appointment which was disappointing because I drove an hour and a half to be there. I was willing to shrug it off but it’s been a week since I have heard from the store owner after I emailed her about my confusion with the store closure. I never received an apology, explanation, or some way of being able to reschedule a much needed appointment so that is why I am going out of my way to leave this review.
Wonderful prices, extremely helpful and beautiful dresses
Alma's Bridal Boutique is a hidden gem in Lincoln, California. Alma made me feel comfortable and at home from the moment I walked through the door. She listened attentively as I explained what I wanted, what I did not want, and my general vision. She immediately understood what I was looking for and pointed me in the direction of several gowns that she thought would work. She had a wide selection of gowns in the style and price point that I specified. She reassured me not to worry about the size of the dresses on the rack, reminding me that she would custom tailor any gown to fit my body and my needs. She offered helpful advice about fit, tailoring, and which fabric shades she thought would best flatter my skin tone. In the end, I tried on ten dresses and I loved every single one of them. I ended up with a stunning, custom gown - uniquely tailored to my exact wants and needs. The gown that I chose off the rack was a size 16; Alma perfectly sized it down to a size 2 to fit me. The gown that I chose was originally sleeveless and had an illusion neck bodice. At my request, Alma transformed the dress into an off-the-shoulder gown and removed the illusion netting. I ended up with a beautifully fitted, custom gown that no one else in the world has - all for a fraction of the cost of what I would had paid at one of the big box bridal stores. Alma is a master at her craft and went above and beyond to help me feel happy and at ease. I am so happy with her services, and I felt so confident and beautiful on my wedding day. I give Alma and Alma's Bridal Boutique my highest recommendation.
Alma is fantastic! I purchased a wedding dress online with measurements that should have fit but it did not zip up as it was too small. I was frantic and took my dress immediately to Alma. She was very knowledgeable and assured me that she could alter it to fit. Sure enough she altered the dress and it fit perfectly! I couldn’t have been happier with both my experience with her and the outcome of my dress.

I tried on dresses at a few bridal boutiques prior to my wedding. Alma's Boutique had my favorite selection of dresses. A wide variety of sizes and styles.. but the best part was Alma herself! Her attention to detail was outstanding and although I didnt end up buying a dress through her boutique, I knew she'd be who I wanted to go to for all future alterations. When I brought in my wedding dress for alterations, I only had about a month until my wedding. She happily rushed my alterations flawlessly. That dress couldn't of fit better once she was done with it, it was perfect! She took it in 2 dress sizes, she hemmed the front, added 6 hook and eyes for my train, AND added more beading to the neckline!I highly recommend Alma's Bridal Boutique to anyone searching for wedding dresses, as well as for all other alterations. Thank you again Alma, I know I will see you in the future!
