Every single time I call the phone number listed above. No one ever answers. I did have a sit down meeting with Michelle, who is the Director of the ARC, or so she says. During the 1st phone call she told me that she personally will ADVOCATE for me. That never happened. Michelle gave me Nina Baker's card-some woman in Omaha?-Told me to \Call Nina she will help you.\-Nina Baker never called me back. Michelle told me I can \email her just to vent.\ But mostly she takes busloads of women on trips to get their hair and nails done? At the meeting at ARC, another woman, Vicki came in and introduced herself. They both asked me if I wanted to meet the Lincoln Police? If that isn't threatening or scary, I don't know what is. So once again, I went personally to a federally and state funded agency. Begged them for help. And nothing. Yesterday, Michelle told me she can't help me at all with LHA, though she had said she would. Instead she was driving around collecting donations for a fundraiser. Guess since I'm facing Imminent HOMELESSNESS that could include all of my nice clothing and home items. Since I have no place to go. Just like the time before when I was run out of my Home. And then the Arsonist who burned down my apartment and then when I was run out and run out and run out; WOW! It really is quite purposeful. ZERO Advocacy. But they are happy to take my and other peoples belongings and Auction them off. Guess those fingernails must be pretty pricey!
