Such a beautiful sanctuary created by the villagers and Parish Council. Putting nature and the environment at the heart of leisure and life in the village for all visitors to enjoy. We all need to protect it. So come on everybody; take home your litter - including those dog poo parcels - to show you like it and care.

Beautiful wildlife walk created mainly by volunteers. Small car park for smaller cars (6' height. Not 2m) BMX track, foot scramble area over fallen trees etc, walk past Reed beds to river Witham. Some areas wheelchair friendly, picnic area, most laid out walk is dog off lead friendly. Bad weather emergency shelter by the river if you get caught out. Freshly planted tree lined walks, children's adventure Fort. Something for everyone. No shop, no toilets, nothing spoilt, take a good picnic and plenty of dog water! Dog poo bins and litter bin at entrance gate. Beautiful area, a real success by the Parish Council and voluntary workers.

Such a beautiful walk. We went through and up along the river bank. On the way back the kids enjoyed playing on the little fort that's there. Theres a few little picnic benches there so we said when its warmer and we are allowed to we will take a little picnic down there. Lovely place to walk your dogs.
