Older truck stop from a bygone era. Its to old to call a Travel Plaza. You won't find it on Google Maps and they don't have WI-FI. I just made that one up. Nice and clean truck stop offering the basics with a friendly staff.

Have been to Shoemakers truck stop a couple of times in the past two weeks and will go back whenever we are in the Lincoln area! I have never had a better Rueben sandwich! My husband couldn't believe the amount of food at such a reasonable price! Definitely is a great place to eat! The entire evening staff couldn't have been better! Great food and great service!

Crete Carrier just bought it to expand our terminal. We need bigger showers.

It's not a horrible place however it is much higher in prices then the place across the street. It's clean but ran down. I always find it mildly entertaining (except for when I am a hurry) that the clerk, even though there isn't a soul in the entire place, is always "working" on something and makes it seem as if she don't get that done then the place will close. psssstttt......I like the effort but you can lose the act. All i care is that you check me out and let me be on my way. Nice folks but the place needs a bit of care.

This truck stop is a veritable museum of historic vehicles...like a 1927 harvester and a 1930's tow truck, right in the store next to the Cheetos! Never seen a gas station like this. Definitely worth a stop. The restaurant looks decent too (didn't try it).

I never stopped here and I had been trucking for 6 years. Sooo, today I decided today it will be the day I will give this place a chance! So I came into the lot. Got greeted with huge craters as soon as I entered the lot, also seen pumps down, seen out of date pumps as well, building well out of date, parking lot Oh My GOD!!!! The Garages This place needs a fire to happen and needs a rebuild or go out of business one or the other. I will just continue going to the AMBEST across the street like I normally do. By the way I never even went inside this place. The parking lot itself was a nightmare therefore it already told me what the place inside is gonna be like. So nope not gonna happen ever.

This place is pretty run down it could use an update and the prices aren't the best. Go across the street to the newer one. That one is much cleaner and the employees are pleasant.
