We've been customers of VHVH since they opened their office on 84th. Dr. Jim has taken our family of dogs through puppyhood, middle age, death, and when it was necessary, euthanasia. He is a compassionate, down to earth man and has assembled a staff that is, well, outstanding. Read the bio of each staff member on their website. They are all passionate about animals and love their work and you can sense that when you walk into the office. This summer we used their boarding, daycare, and training services. Erika, the trainer is wonderful. She worked with me to figure out what behaviors were important to us, set up a schedule, and gave me regular feedback. I've found that daycare combined with training three days a week is perfect for us. And best of all we are getting good results! Our puppy, Maggie, can hardly wait to get in the door, greet the reception staff, and trot on back to school! Our family has lived in 3 different states, 7 different cities and been with at least as many veterinary offices and this one is the best hands down. Update: Our newest puppy, Gracie, is now a patient of Dr. Jim and the staff. Like going to your family doctor with a new baby, VHVH treats us like family with a new addition. There is nowhere else like this place. I highly recommend!
Took my 8 week old puppy here to get his first round of shots. Since this is still the pandemic, we waited in our car, and the staff came out and got our puppy, brought out all the necessary paper work right to our car, very safe! We were in and out in less than an hour, and our puppy came out happy as ever!
The Dr.'s and staff are quick, responsive, reasonable and give top-notch care. I highly recommend them!

We brought our new Ferret in for a check up and shots. Dr Jim took the time to check Gypsy over and provide insights into Ferret care. The entire team was great and you could tell they all love animals. Great place!
