This is a garden center that also sells home decor and some food items. This review is about the pie. While I think that the best pie is a homemade pie, Gerard's pie is the next best thing. I love pie and I have sampled a lot of pies in my lifetime and these pies are the best non-homemade pies in the area. The crust is actually flaky and not crumbly, there are many flavors to choose from, and, the filling is not overly sweet. Some comments mentioned that the pies are overpriced. The small pies are four servings and, yes, they are 17 which is steep when it comes to pie. I'm putting that here for you to consider but I don't think that affects the tastiness of the pie. Some other notes: the cider donuts are good but not worth a stop for those alone. They are nice and fresh but have too strong of a floral flavor for me. The location right next to route 2 is atrocious. It feels very dangerous to enter and exit this place because of people driving 20 mph over the speed limit on Route 2. But I always stop anyways for the pie.

The WORST place!! Totally FLEECED. 19 for honey that costs 11 online from the actual farm's website. 4 donuts for donuts that are 2 at most! Insane prices for simple things like blackberry jam. Jam that isn't half as good as the most expensive jam from whole foods, also made in New England, and half the price. This place is dangerous to farm stands because it makes me never want to stop at one again. I don't mind paying a slight premium, but triple the price of other farms that are just as natural and just as good, or even local premium items at whole foods, where so many more parties take a cut, is just wrong on principle. I am adding a picture, look this honey up online.

Last year we went to Gerards and they were so awesome that the experience was memorable. What we really liked was the quality and product knowledge. The plants were specimen quality and the care explanation was invaluable. Keep up the good work.

Went there to try their pie and ended up getting a small pie and a small crumb cake. I walked around a little but had at 7 months pregnant wasn’t able to look at much cause everything was so close together, I could barely fit. There were no prices anywhere so I was shocked to hear the cashier say 32...it didn’t help that she was rude when checking out either. I will not be returning.

I usually get my blueberry pie from Trader Joe’s for 7 dollars and absolutely amazing quality, but around October they don’t usually carry it. So I stoped by at this farm to get one, I was charged 26 for the same size pie that I get from Trader Joe’s. I love to support small businesses but I don’t like the RIP OFF feeling.
