Didn’t feel like cooking tonight so I stopped in to grannyweavs, immediately Greeted with excellent hospitality which is always nice. The menu has a ton of options from small meals, big family meals or even just a quick snack. All fairly priced. I ordered a family meal every piece of chicken was definitely made with love! seasoned perfectly super light and crispy! The potato salad was perfect! All in all a good experience. We will be going back!

Absolutely everything I've ate from here has been deliciously seasoned and cooked. The ribs have a great smokey flavor, and fall off the bone. Not only are they cooked well, but there is a lot of meat on them. A very impressive amount of food for the price. The fish is moist, and the coating is so crispy. The flavors are all on point. Definitely one of my favorite things on the menu. But let's talk about the okra. If you've had okra you know that if it isn't done right it's not edible. GrannyWeavs okra is done to perfection!!! Order it, I promise you won't be disappointed. The red beans and rice are the best I've had, and the baked beans are just as good. If you have a little one, or picky eater, the mac and cheese will be a hit for sure. It's just the right amount of cheese to noddle ratio, and it's baked, which I think adds much needed texture. Something very unique and fun are the funnel cake fries topped with powdered sugar and caramel or chocolate. YUM!!! I can't wait to dine in some day, but for now I feel 100% confident and safe eating take out. So do yourself a favor and treat yourself to some yummy comfort food that won't break the bank.
Great food employees very nice. Look forward to returning. Wife and I had fried chicken collard greens fried okra red beans and rice all freshly made not from a can. Go here.
Had a bad day, and came to GrannyWeavs for the first time. Best decision ever. EVERYTHING was delicious! The collard greens have a little kick. The burnt ends were the best I have had in years. The brisket was perfect. And I inhaled the sweet potatoes. Great service too!
Love this place! I've not been to such good southern cooking in years. The fried chicken is made to order and the sides are top notch. If you're looking for some solid comfort food in Lincoln, this is the spot.
