The team at Heartland Moving In Lincoln should be the example for other moving companies! We have used other major, well known, long distance moving companies in the past and they do not even come close to the exceptional moving service that Lee and his team at Heartland Moving provided us on our recent long distance move. From the office manager Sarah's prompt and courteous answers to all of my many questions, to each member of the moving crew, you simply will not be disappointed hiring Lee and his team to handle your move. Heartland helped me move several years ago and I had a great experience with them so went with them again. I wish it had gone as well as the last time. When they got to my house they did not have anything to protect picture frames etc (they did last time) and once they filled up the truck and delivered that to the new place they didn't go back for the rest. I am a disabled vet, don't get around well anymore and I needed someone who would pack and move everything (they said they would). I ended up having to pay my old landlord another months rent (1500) because it took more than a week to finish moving my stuff. Then I find out the next time my kids come that both of their computer desks and one of their dressers was broken. The computer desks were propped up to look fine until you said down at them and they just collapsed. I was told I would not be reimbursed for this because they were particle board. The one is understandable it was a cheap craigslist special, the other one however was a really nice one from target that was almost 200 and took me almost five hours to put together with help, less than two months old! I was really upset! The movers themselves were very nice people but it seemed like every time I turned around they were taking a smoke break (which I noticed at the end I paid for the entire time they were there so smoke breaks were on me). I understand moving is hard and needing to take a break every once in a while is necessary but it seemed very excessive. I would not recommend the company in the future.
