We highly recommend. We love Hofker Auto, specifically the owner, Jim Hofker. We have been taking our cars to Hofker for years, largely because they're trustworthy, they get back to you timely, they shoot straight, they do good work, they give you an estimate before starting work, and they don't try to talk you into repairs you don't need yet. With Hofker, it's so reassuring to not have to worry about being taking advantage of financially. One day, I brought my car to Hofker at the end of their work day. I was just going to leave the car in their lot to take a look at the next day. Jim Hofker was just locking up to go home when we arrived, and he insisted on hooking up his diagnostic tool to my car right then rather than making me wait a day. He told me the warning light was nothing to worry about, so he didn't try to get me to make a repair I don't need. Just today, we took one of our cars to Hofker. He advised that a part has a little bend in it, but it doesn't need to be replaced yet. If we notice an issue with it in the future, he'll fix it and gave us a quote.

I definitely appreciate there honesty and quickness in getting to my vehicle. If I have any vehicle maintenance needs in the future Hofker is the place I will go.

Have been taking my vehicles in to Jim's shop for years. Throughout the years Jim and his mechanics have always done great work. They are honest about what repairs are needed and the price is always fair. My wife and I live in Omaha now, and we still bring our cars to Hofkers in Lincoln when our cars need repairs made. We do that because these guys are honest and do good work which can be hard to find in a mechanic shop.
