The owners and managers of Blue Orchid of Lincoln, NE, started Issara wanting to expand their Asian flavors beyond just Thai, including Chinese, Japanese and Korean. Service was quick and professional and the flavor was good. However, I was very disappointed with the portions. I ordered the Panang Curry with high hopes but was served a very large plate full of sauce with barely 4 small pieces of beef swimming in it. The more I searched the rich sauce, the more my spirits dropped as I failed to find more than a sparse tidbit of protein. I am very saddened by this drop in quality as I used to love Issara. However until the portions meet the price, I can’t see myself returning.

I haven't been here for about 4 years and boy did I miss it!! It was very delicious and a great time for me time! No kids! The service was great, my server was just wonderful and caring! The food had great taste and just like I remembered!! Yummy!! So delicious!

We hosted a backyard, COVID19 safety compliant, dinner. The attendees voted to select a local restaurant to provide dinner and Issara was chosen, this was due to the unique and delicious menu and their ability to accommodate a variety of specialty diets. The order included 16 meals and each meal was properly prepared to meet dietary limitations and individually packaged in a brown bag with the guest name written upon it. This allowed for safe and simple distributions of the meals. By all reports the meals were delicious. Kudos to the team at Issara for a job well done.

Definitely the best Asian cuisine I've had! The food was delicious and it wasn't too busy on the weekday so it was a very pleasant meal.
