Ramen was completely cold, no veggies (other than green onion), broth super greasy, salty, and cold. Very small portion sizes for price 16. Pork was okay to me. My boyfriend was very disappointed with it. Just don’t waste your you’ll be disappointed, 90c ramen is honestly better than this.

Ordered 1 spicy chili ramen and 1 fried chicken through DoorDash. Both are overly priced compared to their quality. Both dishes came in cold, I have no idea how they made broth this cold (chicken, maybe, hot soup???). The quantity and look matches nothing from their menu picture (expected). Chicken were over-fried, egg was under-cooked, pork slice was super thick and dry. I have no idea what gives them confidence to price these things. Both dishes were overly salted, I mean seriously, super super salty. It's like the chef poured all the salt they have left into the dishes. You'll be like drinking directly from Dead Sea. So far it's the worst restaurant in Lincoln area. AVOID if possible! Both dishes ended up in the trash can, DoorDash was nice enough to refund me the meal.
Pros: Friendly staff, nice building, reasonable(ish) prices considering the location. Cons: the food is Sooooooooooooooooo salty. I do not have enough words in the English language to describe how salty it is. It’s even saltier than instant ramen noddles. I ordered the Tonkotsu ramen and it wasn’t even palatable. I actually had to add water to my broth to dilute it. This was unfortunate because I actually thought the overall flavor of the broth had the potential to be tasty, but the salt over powered everything. Part of the fun of ramen is being able to slurp the ramen broth and the end, and I couldn’t even do that. I’m not sure if you use a pre-made mix or if you make the broth from scratch, but please please please dial back on the salt. You have the potential to be the best Ramen in Nebraska, but as things currently stand, it’s only a matter of time before you give someone a heart attack.
Ordered through doordash for self pickup. Arrived on time and they didn't have the order even entered. Waited for them to cook it. You would think being freshly prepared it would be better but not so much. The "broth" was a weird creamy consistency and had no taste. Even sirracha didn't help much. And it was luke warm leaving to store. Paid 16 for the Raman and added a side of kimchi for 4. I got two little wilty leaves of bok choy, not kimchi. Bowl was super tiny for price and to top it off I found a black bread tie in my soup.... So disappointed, I love Raman and was excitied to have a new option. Lesson learned.
Disappointed on the donkatsu ramen that me and my husband ordered. Seeing the review from the main franchise in nyc, I was getting very excited to try this ramen (I indeed ignored the reviews from Lincoln here, was hoping it is just some different opinions on the ramen). The hell how wrong I was, the soup was salty, like super super salty that I can’t handle to drink the broth; the others ingredients are fine but not great and definitely not worth the price. Hope you guys can really copy the recipe from the main franchise right, otherwise I’m most not recommend to try this
Ate there last Friday. It's expensive. But oh so delicious. I miss Amu Manu, but honestly this ramen may be even better. Got the Shoyu, the Japanese Fried Chicken, and the Pork Buns. All of it was excellent! Definitely returning. Hopefully soon.
Just ate here last night, my husband and I both had the tonkotsu ramen and bao. The food was absolutely amazing, and rivalled the rich and delicious flavor of AmuManu Ramen's food. I can tell the people at Ivan really did their best to make the food taste incredible. We ordered delivery and it still arrived warm, and the egg was even still perfectly runny and better prepared than from anywhere else I've ordered. I will definitely be eating here again, the higher price is worth it. Don't believe the needlessly snobby and unreasonably cruel review from whoever R W is, Ivan ramen deserves their due praise because their food is top notch. Try this place yourself, it's for sure worth it.
It is a little pricey, but it's in the Haymarket, that's to be expected. I got the Tonkotsu, it was the best ramen that I've had.
