Rude..messed up my taxes and then had the nerve to blame me cause they messed them up so bad they had no choice but to fix them. Even after all that when I called for my AGI number off the incorrect taxes they are even ruder on the phone. Save your money and you would have better chances doing your own taxes.

I called ahead to make sure they could help with my specific tax needs and was told they could. I was quoted a price and set an appointment. The tax preparer I had was unbale to answer my questions or help with my IRS issues. They also charged me DOUBLE the quoted price. Staff was rude and acted like they wanted to be anywhere but there. Staff also lied on form on why it was not e-filed.

As tax season is upon us ill share my experiences. went to Jackson Hewitt on 27th Street 5 years in a row had problems 4 out of 5 years. First year the preparer forgot to include income from a Celerion study although she had it in her notes and I turned in all the forms. That Surprise cost quite a bit of money, thought I was getting a refund, instead owed the IRS after they took all the return. The following year they failed to enter something in the wrong place. That year I actually paid extra for the \Guarantee\ they didn't honor it stating that I'm still responsible for any miscalculations soooooo.... as result I was given the number to the Omaha office. The person I spoke with was quite nice, apologized and assured my tax filing would be free the next year so as to make up for the error. Well the next year came and they failed to honor it, promising instead a \discount\ it was like 10 off. Since then went to H and R Block on O Street. No problems at all. Just some info. And they didn't charge as much.

Alice was super friendly, knowledgeable, and considerate! I highly recommend using her. I’ve only been using Jackson Hewitt for two years but given their customer service and how easy they are to use I’ve already become loyal to them.
