We've gone through four landlords in less than a year. Every single one has been terrible. The first one didn't give me receipts for anything I paid for, now they are refusing to give back half of my pet deposit (when you sign the lease they say that they'll give you half back). The only reason they won't give me my money back is because she didn't log it into the system. After being told my apartment looked \fantastic\ during the walkthrough I was expecting more than 18.33 our of my 650 dollar total deposit/pet deposit. After asking for my pet deposit back, I was told that they couldn't do anything because they have no record of me paying it. When I first moved in the apartment completely reaked of cigarettes. I couldn't stay in the apartment for the first two weeks because I couldn't breathe. They finally came and cleaned the carpets. I didn't have a stove or oven for the first month and a half. Even after I requested one I had to call and berate them once in week for them to realize that it was a serious thing. There are roaches for days upon days, they accused me of bringing them in even though everyone in the apartment either has roaches, bed bugs, or a combination of both. Not to mention the sketchy people walking around outside of the middle of the night. I had to use my mace quite a few times as well as pull up my pocket knife a few. It is not a good place for a single woman to be. The apartments aren't even one full bedroom, it has a wall, but no actual door that seals off to the rest of the apartment. Whenever I would call to complain about something they would blame me first and foremost. They are just very rude and disrespectful as a whole company. Half the time they would ignore my phone calls despite their office numbers being tied to cell phones I should have trusted the reviews, but I had nowhere else to go that would take my dog.
Do not rent from them they scammed us out of over 600. Stating that the carpet needed replaced. When we moved in it was a patch work job not new carpet we have photo evidence but they won't do anything.
