I ordered the Valentine's day afternoon tea which was delivered to our door at the allotted time. All the items were individually and carefully wrapped and labelled. We could not have been happier, the look on my wife's face was priceless. So many 'brownie' points for me. (Pardon the cake pun). Would highly recommend. Can't wait for lockdown to lift to be able to visit and experience the full Edwardian experience.

As per usual, fantastic service and food!!! We gave a very short notice due to last minute booking of our wedding ceremony in the middle of the pandemic, and Mr and Mrs Gearing have done their absolute best to get all the food and also our wedding cake done in the time and made us feel very special. Everything was wrapped, labelled and packed up neatly for us to take away and lot of the packages had little messages which warmed our hearts. Their service and personal touches are above beyond!!! I'm sure we will be going to their tea room for many many years to come! We cannot wait for these awful times to be over so we can go and enjoy some more of Lady Rose's delicious food and the wonderful company of Mr & Mrs Gearing. Once again, thank you for making the most important day in our lives even more special!

A wonderful place and experience. The afternoon tea is amazing, with the tallest scones I've ever seen and the best shortbread I've ever tasted. The staff are lovely and Mr Geary was happy to talk us through some of his favourite collection pieces on display in the cabinets. We have already put our names down for the upcoming Sherlock Holmes afternoon in which Holmes and Watson will be doing a reading of one of their mysteries while afternoon tea is served. Well worth a visit!

Thoroughly scrumptious. We had a My Fair Lady Afternoon Tea during the November lockdown. We arrived to collect our treat and were greeted with smiles from Mr and Mrs Gearing, everything was ready and all beautifully packed and labelled. When we got home and opened our boxes. Wow is the only word to describe it. So many beautiful sandwiches, savouries and cakes it was so hard to know where to start. If you want a special treat and to be treated as an exceptional customer give this lovely Tea Room a chance to wow you.Huge thanks.

Lady Chris, as affectionately named, Visited Lady Rose,s for the first time, with my daughter in law, for my birthday. We had the perfect afternoon tea experience. The ambience, the food and the welcoming atmosphere was just heaven. Also the attention to detail is just beautiful. The lovely owner's Mr & Mrs G even took the time to talk us through their wonderful experiences of their themed afternoon teas. We cannot wait to come back and see you both. Took my 88 year old Nan and parents here today. Would highly recommend. The decor fascinated them. Selections of cakes was brilliant and service was excellent. When she next comes to visit we'll be sure to return. As my Nan said "you don't get places like that any more" and I would agree. Thank you!
