This is a public assistance facility. I've only taken a friend here for her Obama phone but she was treated very respectfully by all and accomplished her task. Didn't take all day either.

The Lighthouse provides valuable resources for Placer County families who are in need of assistance for a variety of issues. They have helped countless families and individuals who are in need of counseling, employment resources, WIC, help with Medi-cal enrollment, backpacks for families for back to school, etc. They continuously help with diapers and baby wipes for low income families in the communities they serve. I cannot say enough good things about this organization. The leadership is phenomenal, and the reach continues to grow. Thank you, Lighthouse, for all that you do!

Unprofessional, unpolite, unhelpful. I took my foster son, there was no one in the office to greet me. I thought oh well, maybe they are busy but then when I finally saw someone take a seat at the front desk I was not even acknowledged. Second time coming, our appointment was at 5pm we arrived about 15 minutes early and to our suprise the door was locked, I could see the lady at the desk was speaking on the phone so we politely waited outside until 15 after. I was underwhelmed and feel like the kids deserve better. It's terrible we couldn't reach the trained professionals who provide care, his therapist called me after and asked where we were. Uh waiting outside. What a shame the underserved children in our own community who are MOST at risk will not be getting the much needed help they require at this establishment. Get it together people. These kids deserve MORE than what you're giving them. How do you plan on stepping it up for them? I challenge you to be all you can for the children you serve, or get another job.
