Cool museum depicting the “most dangerous street” in the United States. A lot of interesting details on Billy the Kid also. A sampling of things from the area. 5 to get in which covers all of the buildings in town. We drove by the others before heading out of town.

It was worth seeing but not many places were open only 5...disappointed
Beautiful little place. Its Corona season so everything was closed but we enjoyed the walking paths and viewing all historical sites from a distance. Hope to enjoy Bill The Kid Day in the future once the world opens back up!
Cute little place to visit just be sure to buy your tickets for the last place you visit they don't tell you you need to buy them up front so unless you want to walk back up ask your first store about it
We were driving back home to Arkansas from New Mexico and stopped they had a wonderful collection of antiques and Billy the kid items for us to take home to my children and my husband
I live in Ruidoso, NM, for years we always take our visitors to see the history of Lincoln, NM. It's always very enjoyable.
We really enjoyed this trip! Billy the Kid memorabilia is in the shops along with toys and antiques. Go to the Billy the Kid Museum and purchase a 5 ticket. That ticket gets you into all the historical sites in the town. Lots of history and the gunshots in the wall where Billy the Kid gunned down Pat Garrett and made his escape. The wagon trip is only available during the first weekend in August during their festival.
Great place to learn about history of wild west and the culture of New Mexico, Lincoln. They have an informative museum with a great movie( best to watch before walking around!!!) walking around the place after getting to know the hard facts of the war that cumulated in the city around Billy the kid, made us understand the history a bit better. Makes you wonder. And makes you enjoy the historic artifacts :) You can see some original objects from that era. The town is really empty, only 2-3 families still live there.
