Chose to have the most basic burial for a family member and the staff at Lincoln Memorial respected that. I felt bad because I had not thought of a monetary thank you before arriving at the cemetery for the young lady that lowered the ashes or the officiant that blessed the grave. I could offer nothing but a sincere thank you. I hope they were compensated for their time. If not please let me know and I will send something. Thank you to the 2 ladies that originally met with me. Made the process smooth when I didn’t have a clue where to begin or what had already been taken care of. Had all the answers and even called a few times to check my mental well-being. Unnecessary but very thoughtful. Again, Thank You.

My wife and her Mother set up the majority of the preplanning for her funeral years ago. Then over the past two years we updated and finished out the arrangements. Her Mother passed away three weeks ago and this required a trip to the Memorial office to do last minute items. We thought that it would be a matter of a few minutes to basically fill in the blanks. Instead, a long-winded spiel was given that certainly felt like an upsell process. It was also found that paperwork was not properly filed and without our cancelled check there would have been a recharge for the floral spray. We were literally shocked at the facial expression our deceased wore during the family viewing. We accepted the apology, but after the previous week of heartache it was yet another sorrowful moment. She would have been horrified, if only she had known. Otherwise, the make up, clothing and casket were nicely done. We had a small group of family present, and a couple from out of town noted that the Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home was looking a little shabby. Drywall tape coming loose in the viewing room and flaking paint or stucco on the exterior of the building were the most obvious flaws. Funeral staff did a fine job on the day of the internment and the family was pleased with the final rites.
They help you through the entire process ro make it the best experience ever !
This was a horrible experience. I would never use Lincoln Memorial for a LOVED one EVER again. From the start it was nothing but problems. The funeral Director was awful and the billing/prepayment is a joke! You will get ripped off. Dishonest people this company needs to be investigated and audited.
The funeral happened, but they were terrible about communication and the details. The urn was delivered the night before, but they actually turned it away and we had to go pick it up ourselves just before the funeral. The office was disorganized and having trouble processing the payment. They didn't mark things well or offer good guidance for the funeral, and though the grounds person had a mask on, the lead person from LMC wasn't wearing one. They just dropped a lot of balls, when the details are really what you're paying them for. Can't possibly recommend them. UPDATE: You can see below that they asked me to follow up with them by email so they could improve. I did, and never heard back from them. I changed my two-star review to a one-star because it's now clear the management is at the center of how poorly this place handles things.
