A friend of mine went camping here a few weeks ago and talked highly of the place. So I flew into Lincoln with my 8 y/o to go camping. Parking the plane, camping by the river, and fishing with the kid. What a great experience. My son said it was the best camping trip so far. Bathrooms and showers on sight. Kayaks to use. Kids trout pond at the other end of the airport. We also went into town to get supplies and dinner. Cab ride was quick and only 3. He is asking when we can go back. My wife saw the pictures and now she wants to go. Anybody looking for a great aviation camping site, that is very reasonable cost, consider Lincoln Regional Airport Camping.
