I recently stayed here for a couple of nights while visiting friends nearby. I was given one of the brick built chalets to stay in and very nice it was too! Everything I needed for a comfortable stay, including a kitchenette area with a fridge, cooker, microwave and a selection of utensils and cooking equipment, they even supplied the washing up liquid! There isn't a shop in the village but on site the clubhouse serves food and drink through the hatch, and the prices are low! It's surroundings and friendliness of the staff made it a nice change to the budget hotels I usually use. I'll be back!

Very cheap round of golf at 8 for 18 holes. The greens are poor but if you can look past this I believe it's still great value for money for a beginner to average player. Gets very busy as you can't book a time slot so be prepared to wait!

Must be the lowest cost of a round anywhere in the UK, 6 for 18 holes. The course is better than you would think for 6
