Sometimes one is blind to one’s surroundings and it was the case with our bathroom and separate toilet which had originally been done back in the late 60s! I’m talking ‘chicken tiles’ here for those in the know! However, after my husband died and looking around the house with fresh eyes I realised that something had to be done and especially with the bathroom and loo. Lucky for me my daughter, Emily Collington, works with Palmers of Lincoln and is a very talented designer and she provided the stylish and elegant plans for the new shower room for me and it looked gorgeous on paper. I went ahead and gave instructions for the job to be started and completed while I was out of the country. One is always a little worried when work is being done in one’s absence…but I had faith in Emily’s assurances that it would be fine under the expertise of Paul Shakespeare who headed one of their teams of fitters. My return journey was full of possibilities in my head of what I’d find. However, when I stepped into the new shower room on my return I was absolutely stunned… it was even better than my expectations! It gleamed under the new lighting and it was clear that attention had been paid to every little detail. The contrast to its previous incarnation couldn’t have been more pronounced and it looked gorgeous. In the couple of weeks since completion I still admire it as I walk past the door, still enjoy using it and cleaning it is easy. So, from an extremely satisfied customer…thank you to Emily, Paul and Palmers of Trent Bridge and Lincoln– I absolutely love it! Gill

Having just had a new bathroom designed and installed by Palmer's,I felt I should share what a fantastic service from start to finish I received. Emily came to my house and we went through what I needed styles colours and then designed what it would look like.i wasn't disappointed it was completed by an experienced installation team who delivered a perfect finish to what was previously a dowdy looking wetroom. I cannot recommend using Palmer's enough if you want quality and great results.
It was vital to get the bathroom done in the two allocated weeks in our holiday rental. It worked. The installer was a very professional young man who took pride in his work. I was unhappy with the shower light but that was changed. I found a deep scratch on the shower screen which we hadn’t seen in the dim light but Deb at main office in Nottingham handled it brilliantly and it will be replaced. All in all I would happily recommend Palmers. I felt the price was fair, the design pretty good, the service timely and courteous. Deb is a star with her cool manner and seems very customer focussed. Designer Adam a great salesman and Garry Dorian a very good installer. Will use them again.
Had a bathroom installed 10 months ago. All fine at first but now has a leak. I have tried persistently over 4 weeks to contact the business to arrange a fix. Despite leaving messages and emails no one has had the decency to call back. The measure of a business, as well as taking applause when things go well, is how they respond to customer complaints, on this basis they are hopeless and in my opinion their repute has disappeared. So much for a 5 year guarantee. I would most cetainly not recommend them. I will continue in trying to get the leak repaired. If anyone from the business cares to read this review my details are re 1713L.
On the face of it they look the part but never judge a book by it's cover ! Showroom nice and clean. Bathroom designers as they call themselves ! talk the talk. It all ends there, once money has been exchanged it all goes downhill. Man in charge of the build was very negative about the design did all he could to make his life easy, replace the floor, oh no we will just go over the top of it ! Can't put pipework under the floor because they didn't replace it in the first place. We spent 8.5k on our bathroom and it got to a stage where i just wanted them out of my house. Attention to detail is shocking, on returning from work in the evenings i was finding multiple faults on a daily basis. Cracked tiles that they tried to hide, tiling not meeting correctly from the floor to wall. Floor in now to high to refit the door, floor now has a step which they was going to place a piece of folded metal over. The sealant where the tiles meet each other from floor to wall not being completed behind the bath so any water would just go through. That's just the faults with the floor. I could write an essay on this company but I'm still fuming! Be careful, find someone local that cares.
I've just had my bathroom fitted by Palmer's of Lincoln and I'm beyond over the moon. They are great value for money and the service from the team who fitted the bathroom was brill. The build should have been completed in two weeks, and would have been if it hadn't have been for my quirky house and some broken tilesb! But I had no qualms about leaving the key while I went on holiday so that the work could be finished. Also really nice coming home to a new bathroom after a week in the sun! I'd highly recommend them.
Excellent service from beginning to end. Our bathroom has gone from ugly to beautiful! Emily at Lincoln completely redesigned our bathroom and utilised every bit of space that we have. Very impressive process and nothing was too much trouble, I would highly recommend.
We had 2 bathrooms and a kitchen fitted in November 2018 by Palmers Of Lincoln. We are both over the moon with the end result. As to be expected there were 1or 2 fairly minor issues during the installation process however they were dealt with efficiently by the installations team in Nottingham. The showroom is stunning and the staff were so welcoming and helpful without being pushy. Our 2 designers Emily & Jonathan were fantastic, they really listened to what we wanted in our new rooms and that’s what we now have. Family and friends who visited over Christmas have been so impressed by the quality and finish of our new rooms. We have already recommended Palmers to friends. We would highly recommend them to anybody. Thank you Palmers. Mary.
