I have been here several times and it is usually very good. However, I went on New Years 2013. As a restaurant you should know that you will be very busy on holidays. We had a reservation for 7pm. We waited half an hour to get our table, despite calling ahead. They were unprepared. THEN we didn't get bread. They said they had run out. It took forever to get our meal and then my lasagna was cold and burnt. It was so hard I had to use a knife to saw through it. I didn't want to return it and cause a scene but I was very unhappy with this visit. I do believe it was due to the stress with a busy evening, but such occurances should have been expected and they should have been better prepared.

This place has definitely gotten worse over time. My wife and I went here a few months ago and the food I got was not very good at all. The complimentary bread is tasty but very greasy. Couple that with the olive oil for dipping and you've got a greasy mess on your hands. I ordered the fettuccine alfredo with chicken and the alfredo sauce was tasteless and the chicken was low-quality and gristly. I believe my wife ordered the Chicken Under a Brick. She let me try some and it was pretty good; I wish I would have gotten that. We both also got caesar salads, which were fine. And there was a fly buzzing incessantly around our table. It's probably not a good sign when you have flies in your dining area (or anywhere else!) I can't recommend this place to anyone.

Macaroni Grill has always been one of my favorite places . My husband and I ate here on our first Valentine's Day seven years ago and it was worth the very long wait. We went early tonight to avoid the crowd and I can't remember a time when I've felt so pushed out of a restaurant. We had barely had a bite of the (stale) bread when our salads arrived and weren't even halfway through our salads when the main course was plunked on the table. We asked for but never got water and my favorite pasta dish and the only one I've ever had there, Penne Rustica, is not the same dish I once loved. The penne was not quite done and it's not baked anymore. No offer of shredded Parmesan or even another drink. We won't be back. Very disappointing.
