I was a new patient today at the Springfield Clinic Lincoln. We moved here in November and finding a new doctor can be intimidating. I have been to many clinics and doctors in my 75 years. I was VERY IMPRESSED with how CLEAN everything was! I did NOT feel (as I have in other offices in other communities) that I might get every conceivable germ that might have been in the room before me, Very Impressed with the way the staff conducted themselves!! They were professional, polite, listened to me and were efficient at the same time. I moved from a much larger community and didn’t know what to expect. I know that I have used the phrase “very impressed” but honestly better descriptive words are hard to find. Dr. Carroll really listened to me! Dr. Carroll was very busy but never made me feel rushed. I know his time is very valuable but meeting a new doctor was not easy for me. Sometimes big city doctors are in such a hurry to stay on schedule that they do not listen the way Dr. Carroll listened. I have never felt so relaxed with a doctor before! If you are looking for a different doctor, I highly recommend going to the Springfield Clinic in Lincoln. I was made to feel that my medical needs were important to everyone there. The warmth and professionalism was outstanding. I love Lincoln, Illinois! Everywhere I go the people have been so warm and kind. I am so thankful that we moved here.
