Typically a very old village church in a quiet location. Parking right outside the church available but wheelchair access slightly hampered by a stone surface. However opportunity exists to park near to or on the grass that would give access to all the fine church yard and cemetery. Peaceful location that gives you time to collect your thoughts.

'St. Andrew’s Parish Church dates back to Saxon times and rests in a prominent position at the southern end of the village on an elevated piece of land. It is visible for a great distance in every direction and the view from its tower is worth a tricky climb through the six bells which are rung regularly by a local team of ringers based in Martin. The organ is a rare Harrison and Harrison which is played at each service. (From the Carr Dyke Group of Parishes website). Stopped off while cycling in the area, unfortunately, St. Andrew's Church was locked on this occasion.
