Since the sale of the Gold's bldg, the reality of no public restrooms, Covid pandemic, on top of the most fiercest weather. Not all patrons have cars. Don't know if they have any family going through this.

Cell phone and app and credit card. You pay 5.00 one way. Within City limits. It's nice for the price. Van was built for wheelchair accommodations

I have had great experiences with the buses in Lincoln, as most drivers are very friendly and many will lower the bus without having to ask (which is helpful at some bus stops, as some were poorly picked). The buses are almost always on time and are willing to call if I need to catch a connecting bus because they are late getting to Gold's. Except for a couple bus drivers who scare me in their customer service and driving skills, many do a great job. The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because some bus lines need to run later (and more often), as well as having the lack of bus operations on Sundays. I would also like to see the city make the buses fare-free permanently, as it speeds up the buses and very little income comes from fares. In turn, people will be more likely to ride the bus because of its cost.

Do about four months ago I called startran to see why NONE of the apps available for tracking where the buses are, ever work. They said they were having difficulties with the company that they use. Still, not only are the buses never on time, but you never know where they are either because the apps are useless.

I understand people want their bus to be on time, but I'm really curious why this idiot was weaving in and out of traffic, 10 miles over the speed limit, during rush hour traffic? In about a 5 minute span, I watched 3 near misses, one involving myself. What brand of Cereal did this guy cut his License off of?
