I will start this off by saying I almost never take the time to leave reviews, but I was so upset and disappointed in the lack of bedside manners and the way I was treated that I want to share my experience. I had an appointment with Dr. Tomes in early November. I left my appointment feeling completely minimalized- I was treated as if I was exaggerating my pain, & as if there was no reason for me to have an appointment there. He rushed through my appointment and sent me on my way with a recommendation to see a physical therapist. I did go to a physical therapist (who said he could not fix my problem based on how my disc was sitting) and another Neurosurgeon for a second opinion. The second Neurosurgeon did updated images, and I was scheduled for surgery on December 3rd for an anterior cervical discectomy and fusion. Following surgery I have now recovered and have NO pain. I would not recommend this office, specifically Dr. Tomes unless you are looking to be shut down, rushed, and not listened to. **After reading reviews specific to Dr. Tomes, not just this office it seems as if this has been a common and consistent complaint with him.

Dr Bixenmann cared for my mother and was great about getting back to us with test results and treatment options. I appreciate his care.

Dr. Bixenmann explained my MRI and X-Rays in a manner I could grasp and understand. Talked about possible options to improve the situation to try and avoid surgery. I would highly recommend to make an appt with him. His staff is polite and professional. I appreciate being able to call and get a human voice that understands the need for an appt or provide assistance.

I had 3 level disectomy with cadaver bone replacement with dr bixenmann..I think hes a very fine dr and I'd be happy to use him again..hes a great dr.

Not really happy with the experience here. Dr didn't seem very caring. More like he didn't want to deal with me. Bedside manner leaves a lot to be desired. Also didn't explain things very well.
