I have been a custom with TSB for over 40 years, and never had a problem till now. Last year I had to set up a transfer for my dads bank as he is shielding and everything was fine until the last two times the member of staff was rude and lecture me on the fact that they don't handle money. Will I am sorry but you are a bank. I work in a supermarket and have no choice. I am glad I can do my banking on line otherwise I would think seriously about changing.

Been banking with tsb for a few years, during this pandemic, the first lock down was a bit ludicrous at tsb, opening at 10 shutting at 1 and long queues, which is ok until you get someone doing two or three transactions and taking half hour, The second lock down think they learnt one or two lessons, now every time I've been in its more or less straight in and out, Don't know if I like the idea of the paying in machines, more often then not the machine will spit money or cheques back at you,so you have to go to a tiller anyway, but most of the staff are friendly.
Absolutely shocking, tell you, you have to ring up to order change for business, told off like a kid for constantly ringing phone, told if I ring they will see I have called and will ring back, every week for the last year atleast i have rang 4 times on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and no return phone call apart from maybe twice, then turn up to get change to be told they ain't got enough and that I need to phone up, big problem there the staff clearly ignore the phone, with currently having two complaints active with tsb headquarters, please dont waste your time, dont get me wrong the staff are lovely just cant answer the phone or ring back, if your a business customer they dont care but yet the difference is, I have to pay for this service on my business account but yet free residential accounts get all the priority, definitely need to sort out there priorities
After years of being able to take dogs onto the branch on Bank St, I took my pug in just to deposit some cash in the machine and got bellowed at from across the counter 3 times (I didn’t realise she was talking to me the first times) shouting you can’t bring dogs in here, I questioned this and got told no and to remember this in future. Feeling rather embarrassed in front of a bank full of people I left, only to find out that the cashier that said this to me only turned a blind eye to a fake 20 note she found whole counting money out for someone, her words were I haven’t seen that wink wink
Small and friendly, staff are very approachable. also have tablets in store if you want to do online banking at your own pace. Very rarely busy.
Very nice service, professional approach to the customer, definitely better service than in Lloyds and Westbank. I am happy to choose this bank. I recommend
