The front of the store is the most interesting although the entire house has been kept as close as was back in the day. Kept as intact and identical to what they saw back in the hay days. just being in the exact spot where many historically important western history happened is a rush. The entire area is amazing. I love visiting this place where a legend was made.

Very interesting small museum. Shows you how life was in these parts many years ago. Many different artifacts.

This is a museum, not a souvenir shop. Souvenirs can be purchased a few buildings over. Be patient with the business hours as this town does not expect large crowds of tourists every single day.

Run by NM Historic Sites, the store is refurbished and shelves are stocked with actual boxes sold in the store in the 1920s, which were stored in the basement till it was reopened as a historical attraction. Staff is throughly knowledgeable of stores history from it's building to today.

It is amazing how well preserved this location is. Truly historic, not rebuilt or re-created. The man who was working/volunteering there had a lot of knowledge, too, and was quite pleasant to talk with.

Great Docent at the front desk, and a wealth of knowledge. Check out the post office next door while your at the store.

We are on a Billy the kid themed trip so Lincoln was a main stop. Store had quite a lot of old items from the 1870s and the volunteer on duty was quite friendly and knowledgeable.
