This is the best sporting good store in northern Maine. They have everything from fly tying supplies, fishing and hunting gear, clothing, guns and ammo with competitive prices. The owners and staff are great knowledge resources for hunting, fishing, shooting sports, and recreating in northern Maine. This is the kind of service and info the big box stores and online sellers don't give you. If you love outdoor recreation and are driving up I-95 it is worth a stop at Whitney's.

Awesome place, friendly and helpful staff. I went in once right after they opened looking for a shotgun choke. They didn't have what I needed so the guy went and took one off a used gun they had there, and gave it to me for nothing!
