Great see Lancaster and Mosquito WW2 bombers and behind the scenes activities. Lancaster engine tests days are amazing.

Wow... Cracking day out at an ex bomber command base. Do not miss the Lancaster taxy runs. Great value day out... to be able to get so close to a super example of a working Lanc was worth the price alone. Good exhibits all over. Plus lots of Poinent reminders of the many many crewmen who left the base on a bombing run... Never to return. Great value lunch as well.

My third visit there. Always an enjoyable experience viewing the exhibits and learning of the personal cost it took for our freedom and liberty. Imagining what it must have been like during the war. They were restoring a WW2 Mosquito bomber in the main hangar behind the beautiful and majestic WW2 Lancaster bomber, Just Jane. A magnificent piece of machinery and engineering. Well worth going to see. Young and old.

An amazing experience, takes you back to the horrors of war. Real props and aviation parts and vehicles also experience the stories of those that sacrificed for the great good. Free parking in an amazing location. Coffee shop on site and small playground for the youngsters and a gift shop. Thanks to the staff for a memorable day.

Gem of a place! Arrived to find the Lancaster out, engines in full flow ... what a sound! Lots of interesting things to see & read about in the hangar & various other buildings. Later in the day the Lancaster did a taxi run, wonderful to see (it's not out every day so check beforehand). Nice little cafe & shop. All staff very friendly. Covid rules & regs. in place and working well. Would definitely visit again.

Wow, to see this fantastic iconic aeroplane run up its engines and taxy made my holiday, even though this museum only has this and a mosquito its worth the visit. Lots of memorabilia in the hanger with the stories behind ww2 remnants. But still to hear those 4 Merlin's
