We had a great night out. Mosquitoes weren't as bad as we expected, the weather was good, the soundtrack was clear, the picture easy to see. My only concerns were that they did not enforce the 2 car spacing listed on their site - but nobody appeared to be in each others safety space despite this. And the website said the snack bar had only popcorn and fries, so we brought our own dinner. But, they have a full menu including burgers that we would have been happier with if we'd known. The popcorn was better than the cinema: none of the salt burn, just delicious butter.

We have been looking ways to entertain ourselves during pandemic. I know it has come hard on the humanity but then we need to deal with it. We found Lindsay Deive-In theatre totally worth it. Its a beautiful drive during the summers, and catching up two movies for only 15 was surely a deal maker. Park your car, carry your own food and enjoy movies under the starlit sky.
I try to get to the drive in once a week. We are drive in theatre enthusiasts and have been to quite a number of different ones across the country. Since being taken over by new owners a couple years or so ago, this theatre has had a total transformation. It is by far the nicest drive in we have been to. We are excited to go each week to see what new improvements we will find. It's still getting better every single week! If you have kids, rest assured they will LOVE it! The playground is amazing! There is something for everyone, from small children to adults.
For being a small town drive-in and a smaller drive-in with 2 screens it wasn't too bad. We enjoyed ourselves. We'd come back for sure. Enough choice of food and drink at the snack bar as well.
The folks that run this drive in are awesome. Snacks are great and they have a good selection of movies. Glad to be seeing some new releases, but it has been a summer revisiting the movies of my childhood.
So let’s start positive I went to the encore Blake Shelton show and it was an amazing show. Sadly that’s where it ends. Due to Covid the drive in is supposed to be running at half capacity and for all legal purposes it is. However the drive in has 2 screen so there idea of half capacity is to sell enough tickets to Bill one side and then keep all those people on one side . So I’m other words it was at full capacity because it wasn’t spread out over both screens. Then the entire night people where out of there cars (which they aren’t supposed to be) and kept flashing their lights and taking flash photography of the screen. Not a single employee was our petroleum or trying to stop this from happening. I tried to call them to get someone to come out but the phone number listed for them is no longer active and they don’t have a new one posted anywhere. Overall it made for a very disappointing visit. Next time I think I will try port hope drive in and see if they are any better.
Amazing place. Had a blast last Saturday. Thanks guys!!! Five stars all the way through.
The place got spiffed up this year, despite pandemic. Staff are super friendly and it's always fun to go here. Support a dying pastime! Kitschy and keeping it retro, well done.
