Elena Vilini & her husband are thoughtful caring and attentive, with small touches to add welcomed hospitality, such as a bowl of fresh picked tangerines they brought to me shortly after my arrival. Professional staff clean the units which is not always the case at other b&b's i've stayed at, such as towels are washed & dried to a fluffy nature, (not hang dry stiff & rough). there is a nice variety of units to choose from as well. i choose the top floor with a kitchen and huge terrazzo to dine on, catch some rays, and dry laundry. another really nice benefit is that there is a large community room with plenty of tables, chairs, board games, puzzles, plus another large outdoor patio there too with reclining deck chairs and a view of the hill, located just off the breakfast room and in the adjacent building. The entire b&b complex is located on the middle of 3 small pedestrian only alleyways located just off the main drag. this provides quiet surroundings with no riff-raff. it seems like they own the entire street inherited from her mum. deco supermarket is located just behind the set of alleys less than 50 meters away. if i may please suggest one small improvement that is prevalent across sicily; the lack of proper insulation. i am staying here for one month in the winter with temperatures in the teens centigrade (60's fahrenheit) with dampness at nights. since all floors and surfaces are exposed tile, it gets cold, walls are thin and windows not sealed well. i understand it gets hot in summer but still good insulation is beneficial year-round, its cleaner more sanitary, saves money on heating and air-conditioning, and greatly adds to comfort. adding mats for the floors, and double-paned windows while caulking everything each year is a good practice we would all appreciate. also a sofa / couch would be nice homey feature as well. beautiful and comfortable rooms, a warm welcome, an amazing terrasse to rest and enjoy the place. You also can enjoy a good breakfast. Quite close to the port and main places and all for reasonnable price. I recommand it as all tourist guides do.
Soggiorno dal 4 all'8 settembre. Ambienti puliti e confortevoli con possibilità di zona cottura. Colazione in una graziosa terrazza con ottime torte. Massimo, il proprietario, molto efficiente e disponibile, pronto a dare consigli e a soddisfare ogni esigenza. Cristina, accogliente e simpatica. Possibilità di escursioni con una bella barca e con personale, Leonardo e Bartolo, gentile e preparato. Stelle tutte meritate.
Personale e titolari accoglienti e disponibili. Struttura pulita e camere comode. La prima colazione è abbastanza assortita Se avete una richiesta ecco che Massimo il titolare è subito pronto a darvi un consiglio. Se volete passare alcuni giorni alle isole Eolie ,andate in questo B&B.
Ho soggiornato dal 6 al 10 agosto in un appartamento di Diana Brown. Sono Stati super gentili e disponibili nel darmi tutte le informazioni necessarie. Giorno 6 quando sono giunto con il traghetto sull'isola pioveva e la ragazza ha mandato un taxi offerto da lei per accompagnarci nell'appartamento. Lo consiglierei a chiunque.
