A truly different experience! A small vegan restaurant that is 1000% sustainable. They avoid any processed food and produce everything themselves from raw ingredients. For example, they grind grains at the store to produce bread and produce purées of fig to create natural sweetness for desserts. Moreover, they only source ingredients locally. They take this concept quite seriously and are super happy to share their story with you. This makes for a truly unique experience and for very different dishes that are very tasty and should make you feel good about yourself. Book a table and expect a slow meal with lots of friendly and informative intros on their food philosophy.

5 stars doesn't give it justice: Kitchen Dates is an experience of how the whole world should be cooking and eating - unapologetically local, seasonal, vegan and communal. The mains I've tried are nothing short of culinary masterpieces: creative, balanced and a feast for the palate. The whole environment is very familiar and you'll feel extremely welcome throughout. Don't miss it - cancel everything else and go. You won't regret it.

Excellent place for vegan food. Probably one of the best in town

Amazing concept! The service is very friendly and the food is very original and delicious! If they are still on the menu, try the ravioli and the padrón peppers!

For my (belated) birthday gift I went to Kitchen Dates with my husband for a brunch in May 2019. The price was 25 Euro per person (so 50 total), which is on the higher end for Portugal. I definitely think the price is worth it considering there are unlimited portions and an all-you-can eat family-style format. All of the food was absolutely delicious. Vegan cheeses, sourdough bread, cereal, vegan yogurt, salad, desserts, freshly ground coffee and so much more. All homemade and outstanding. I love how they avoid refined grains, sugar and oil. PLUS, they are zero waste! I had been waiting months to have the timing align to see them and I'm so glad I did. Maria and Rui are masterful chefs, kind souls, wonderfully creative and considerate of the healthfulness of their food and impact on the environment. Highly recommend.

Service is not very well organized but the environment is truly very pleasant, especially outside.
