This is a place which feels like home - the owners are very welcoming and run the restaurant with a true passion - both for food and Fado music. The meal I had there reminded me of my grandmother's delisious cooking- it was the best meal I have had during my 12 days in Portugal. The not-so-low price tag totally justified the superb quality of the meal as well as the generous amount of both food and drink served. The meal was followed by a very moving Fado performance. liked it so much that I walked out with a CD purchase , signed by Ana Marina - the singer and chef in one. Definitely not an experience to miss when in Lisbon and a highlight of my stay there!
Very, very enjoyed the dinner experience and the fado show. So well improvised singing and strong voices. Brilliant. Service was also very, very nice.

I went here in November of 2019 on a trip with a debate team... it was my first time in Portugal and in Europe. I had no idea what to expect, as I had never heard Fado music until I came to the restaurant. Not only was the food delicious, but the performances were authentic and amazing. Still, months later, I just have to close my eyes to revisit the table, and I often find myself humming and singing the songs that were performed to us! I hope to come back to Portugal some day, and I will make a point of coming back here.

Beautiful place. Less crowded than other one I have been too. The drink was good and the music was lovely.
I truly cannot say enough great things about this restaurant. The owners were so charming, so welcoming, and so incredibly friendly. The food was not only delicious, but also made with love and passion. After an amazing meal, the Fado begins. This was my first experience with fado, and it brought tears to my eyes. It was powerful and beautiful in all the right ways. PLEASE GO HERE, YOU REALLY CAN’T GO WRONG.
