What a wonderful place to enjoy an evening of great food with Fado music and great friends.

High quality of fado. Enthousiastic and dedicated performance by singers. Guitare playershad to work hard for synchronisation. Respect for music: no service during performances. Prices of food and above average, quality is fair, wines are far too expensive (from 30,00). One person bill was 89,00. Sorry, that is way too much.

We arrived at 8:30 PM and finished the main course which was just average at 11:00 PM

A tricky place to review. The Fado is exceptional. Nicely timed during the evening, with 3 very different styled singers. The second performer tonight was breathtaking. The restaurant is a perfect setting for the music & dining; simple but elegant; intimate but atmospheric. Generally, the food is of a very good standard. The monkfish was superbly cooked & sizeable. The desserts were large & tasty. The Portuguese white wine was delicious, and reasonably priced. The service was pleasant & efficient. However, the mussels & prawns in both our starters and main courses were way overcooked. And whilst the main course & dessert were a little on the pricey side of things, the starters were extortionately priced. 5 large, and as stated overcooked mussels were in excess of 20. That is not acceptable. We enjoyed the experience because of the wonderful music, but a line has been crossed in the price of food considering the standard presented.

Great dinner experience, it was the first time in a Fado house for us and we really enjoyed the experience. On the food side, quality is good but I found it a bit expensive, especially considering you pay separately for the artists performance. You can definitely find better quality food at cheaper prices in Lisbon. I don't see it as a tourists trap, that's one of those places that you choose if you wanna experience a dinner with authentic local music. The artists were awesome! Service was a bit slow but still very friendly.

Food is average at best. Fado is good. Price are very high (around 30 Euro for main dish, 10 Euro for dessert).

Music was great that’s all we can really rave about at this place. Food was terrible. Probably the worst place we ate at in our week in Lisbon. So many great places to eat in Lisbon. Unfortunately, this was NOT one of them. Octopus was overdone and soaking in olive oil.. it was pretty inedible. Rest of the food was quite average especially for the price they were charging. Wine was decent. Waiters were not very helpful. There was about one waiter per table yet service was poor.

A simple grilled fish meal with a medium wine bottle shoot to the moon the expense 190. Fado houses worth the visit, but it's too much for what you get. (Being a local and loving Fado, the singers where not on my top 50).
