Can't give 5 stars as there's no car parking facility. BUT, then again, maybe that's what keeps the place less well-known and unspoilt? Hidden away on a quiet country lane, it's a historical monument and all that, but it's an ideal place to bring the kids for a run around, or even a quiet picnic. Would need to be relatively dry though as its just a grassy field. Good steep climb to the top, and nice views over the valley with Ravarnet river flowing past the back of it.

Well kept. Easy to drive right past. There is a small layby-farmer's gate for a short visit. Worth seeing. There is a disciption of what it w Old have looked like so that you can appreciate the work that would have went into it.

Such a beautiful and peaceful place. Can be mucky though, so wear hiking boots or shoes you don't care about.
