Went after being ill in bed for a week. They ran my bloods and apparently anything over 5 CRP indicates a rate of infection in the body. The doctor couldn’t diagnose what it was due to complete lack of knowledge and lack of care. It was New Year’s Day and I could see nobody cared about me and everyone (nurses included) wanted to go home. They didn’t even mention my CRP levels were high and put me on the drip and left for 3 hours on my own before telling me to go home and if I didn’t feel better to go to the royal. My doctor rang as he saw the blood report and said it was ridiculous they didn’t mention it to me and give me the proper treatment. Absolutely furious with Lagan Valley and i will never go back there again no matter how big or small the issue is I’ll stick to the royal!

Excellent A & E department. I had a fall on ice and hurt my back and wrist. Saw a triage nurse immediately and a Consultant within half an hour. I had my back, chest and wrist x rayed and a cast put on my wrist and ready for home in just under 2and a half hours. All the staff were lovely. Very efficient department

A local hospital relevant to Lisburn City and its extended rural areas, with its Doctors, nurses and ancillary workers all performing sterling service. At this time of crass political financial budgeting, resources and salary issues continue to affect morale in our magnificent Health Service. Nevertheless it is reassuring to know this long established medical building with its dedicated staff functions on admirably in the community. Smooth accessibility from nearby road networks and adequate parking usually guarantees unhindered visiting during emergency and other times.

Won't answer the phones, doesn't make appointments when asked, been 10 weeks without given a clear diagnosis on what wrong. Changes everytime I have to go bk and still no real answers.
