Mar. 2018. We and our 3 furry 4 legged boyz found Kamper Kompanion in Litchfield, IL traveling home from Mississippi. It was getting late around 7:30 pm. The staff was very nice, got us to our lot all within a matter of minutes. We were planning to leave the next morning but weather up North was really bad so we chose to stay another night. The staff was very understanding. The campground is nice, very clean. It is mainly white rock as for yardage but that didn't bother us the weather was too cold to be out anyways. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautifully maintained campsite. Really appreciated the nice sized, fenced in dog park with benches and shade. Loved hearing birds singing. Owners very friendly and helpful. Stayed here in a 43 ft fifth wheel and would stay again.

Great camping area. Far enough off the interstate to be quite and near enough to not take you out of your way. Pet area way above average. Nicely maintained gravel roads and sites. We travel this route often and will be back!

Great little park. Clean, quiet, relaxing. Very level pads. Great full hookups. Nice playground visible from most sites. Nice pavilion. Small but very nice for the size.

Friendly crew and good sites. I was here after a rather busy Memorial Day weekend, but still felt welcomed (despite my late arrival). I hadn't intended to stop, but there was a storm on the way and I didn't want to get caught up in the wind and rain. I'd absolutely recommend if you need a site while in the area, just keep in mind that reservations are probably a good idea, as they are popular (for good reason).

Having never been to the area, we were pleasantly surprised. We arrived after 7pm and had called ahead to let the park know but was assured that it would not be a problem. We were greeted by Cindy who checked us in and led us to our site and also invited to their weekly pot luck get together. Everybody was so friendly. I would highly recommend this park if you're in the area. The facilities looked updated and newer...well kept and clean. Very convenient location off I55. Top notch in my book.
