My kids are doing great with online learning! Teachers have been open and helpful.

Absolute B.S. that all kids must do distance learning. My wife and I have to return to work. So if I stay home again from work I should be getting paid for helping my child learn not the teachers. Virtual teaching does not help kids in lower grades or those with learning disability. You all got your Red4Ed now do your job and teach in person.
I appreciate the high level of communication from our school and district, especially during distance learning. Our kids have been in the district for 5 years, and we have had positive experiences.
Amazing teachers! To all the parents upset about distance learning, we all work. You aren’t the only ones dealing with challenges here. You have to figure it out. It’s not the teachers or districts job to find suitable childcare for your child just because you don’t get to have free daycare anymore. The well being of the staff and teachers is more important than you being upset about having to get a babysitter or actually teach your own child. We are all sacrificing here. Figure it out
The lady who is charge is student registration at the district office is very difficult to work with. She is extremely condescending and unwilling to help or explain anything. She goes out of her way to be as rude as possible.
My son has been attending this school for the past two grades now. I absolutely love the teachers he has had so far (Mrs. Merrbaugh and Ms Dubyak) and Mrs. Hopper, the Principal, is a very nice lady as well. I am very thankful that my son has been given the opportunity to attend here!
After feeling like I was almost forced to quit from Dreaming Summit Elementary School because I did not share the same vision as the class I was in, I did leave. Insurance though them was too much as well. I thought I left on good terms. But now I can see there was too much positional power being used against me as a paraprofessional. I am now being reprimanded months later applying for a job at a different school within the district. I received a phone call that I am not eligible for rehire because of what the previous principal had written up about me and how there were "many incidents" I was unaware of until now. It's all politics and since I was never permitted to have an exit interview (nothing written on paper mind you) with the principal I was told as long as I gave two weeks notice I was eligible for rehire. It was a lie. Make sure you do some good research before applying at the district.
I've been going to the school for 5 years now, and the most of the teachers show obvious favoritism and are lazy. The punishments are unfair, as I have been punished unfairly, and I've heard that they did it because they were afraid of being sued by the offender's father, who is a lawyer, and has had multiple violations which would have had him expelled or at the least, suspended from the school, as he has attacked multiple students.
