Amazing space with beautiful views of everything. I went off the main trails a few times and it was spectacular but wet. The main paths are wide and clear though they too, can be wet in some locations. The photos and maps and tidbits of information were wonderful and educational. I grew up in LC and didn't know much of the history of the ponds. Note: If it is hunting season, wear Orange - there is a 100 fine if you are caught without any orange on.

Nice place for a walk. Well maintained in that respect. However, they let the canoe/kayak access at the road overgrow to the point that there is no way to get in and paddle the pond any more. Very disapointing waste of a very nice and historic water asset.
Great wildlife area. The stewards do an amazing job here, marking trails, educating visitors and putting a great deal of energy into keeping the trails open and groomed. Thank you Gail and Roger.
Excellent place to do some hiking and walking through fields and woodland. Often times, you'll be the only one here. Great place for walking with your dog. Nice pond views.
Good management and great volunteers maintain this natural area. Hunting and fishing permitted in seasons. Main trails have benches, maps and tokens of information/fun facts about the surroundings.
