Dr. Plakas took care of my 3 year old and was wonderful! He was very attentive to her and explained all of the options regarding her care clearly to us. He answered any questions thoroughly and allowed us to make an informed decision that was best for our daughter. He saw her through her injury and followed up months after to ensure her full recovery. His staff, like him was always pleasant and very helpful. I would highly recommend Dr. Plakas.

I couldn’t have been happier that Dr. Plakas treated my son’s broken hand. When my son was injured I sought out the best pediatric orthopedic specialist I could find. Dr. Plakas was mentioned numerous times. When I reached out to him he adjusted his schedule and saw us almost immediately. He was attentive, responsive and amazing with my son. When your child is injured, it can be extremely stressful for both parent and child. But after our visit we were both at ease and felt great about his prognosis. It was a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend him.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Plakas. I called in at 8:30 AM on a Sunday morning and the doctor himself answered the phone. He then proceeded to call the hospital to get the x-rays that were taken so he can review them. He called me back within 20 minutes with the results. He told me that they did not have office hours that day but he would meet me at the hospital and take care of my son. We were in and out of the hospital within 40 minutes. He was caring kind compassionate and excellent with my son. If you ever need a pediatric orthopedist I highly highly highly recommend Dr. Plakas.

Dr plakas is probably the best dr I have been to In years!! He goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable in a very scary time. He explained every detail of what my daughters surgery entailed. His calm demeanor and knowledge of medicine made me feel so much more at ease. He’s very accommodating to your schedule puts his patients care and well being ahead of everything. I would only recommend dr plakas to family and friends!!

Dr Plakas has been outstanding throughout this whole process. When our son wound up with a compound fracture, we were very scared and upset. We had a lot of questions and concerns, but Dr Plakas calmed our fears and has done a great job. Our son is healing very well and we could not be happier with the care he received. I would highly recommend Dr Plakas and his entire staff, they are Excellent!
